Our high-profile client, NFL wide receiver AJ Green, was returning to his hometown to host a summer skills camp. The vision was clear: this wasn’t meant to be just another youth camp—it needed to feel like an elite NFL combine. The investment came jointly from the athlete and his management, and our goal was to make the experience competitive, aspirational, and unforgettable.
To set the tone, we curated an exclusive invite-only experience for top high school athletes across the country using personalized, branded mailers. This approach created a sense of prestige and differentiation. We paired these invitations with a custom-shot digital commercial, and reservations quickly followed. To maintain engagement, we launched a weekly newsletter campaign for both parents and student-athletes.
On the day of the event, attendees were greeted with premium branded signage, custom apparel, and educational materials focused on leadership and financial literacy. NFL players—some current superstars like Calvin Johnson, Justin Houston, and Stephon Gilmore—served as counselors, outfitted in custom white Dri-FIT polos that subtly reinforced hierarchy and unity.
I led the planning committee and was responsible for all digital communications, print collateral, apparel design, production, trophies, awards, and branded gifts.
